Director

Dr. Titus Ndunda

Based in Bonn, Germany, Dr. Ndunda leads research and trade at TreAdvisory.  He  holds a PhD in Economics from the Europa-Universität Flensburg-Germany. 

 

Dr. Ndunda has a distinguished experience in economics and market research analysis within the United Nations Environment Programme in Bonn- Germany and Nairobi-Kenya, as well as with The Premier Technologies Ltd Kenya-now Intersol Kenya, a private sector technology enterprise. He brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the growth and development of TreAdvisory.

He has a significant research work experience in relation to Foreign Direct Investment in East Africa and Southeast Asia, as well as hands-on-experience, and established networks to private sector players in Kenya, Germany and Malaysia. Specializes in knowledge transfer modelling, market studies, project management and evaluation.

Local Representative- Kenya

Mr. Moses Maina

Mr. Moses Maina is TreAdvisory`s Ltd local representative to Kenya.  He ensures compliance by TreAdvisory Ltd 
of all requirements under the Kenya`s Companies Act, 2015. 
He is a tax specialist and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Nairobi.

 He is also a Tax Trainer and Consultant, and a Lecturer of Taxation at the Kenya School of Revenue Administration. He previously worked with the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and Kenya’s National Treasury from 1984 to 2019 rising from the position of Tax Assessor Trainee to Senior Assistant Commissioner for Tax Policy and Tax Legislation.

His extensive training in tax was undertaken at Kenya’s Income Tax Training School, Malaysian Tax Academy, Kyoto Comparative Law Centre and Korea International Cooperation Agency.   His wealth of knowledge include providing leadership in the Budget and Tax Policy at KRA and National Treasury, Negotiation of Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreements (DTA’s) and Bilateral Investment Agreements (BIA’s), Tax Administration Diagnostic Assessment Tool (TADAT- which is for Benchmarking Administration of Domestic Taxes), Tax Incentives, Taxation of Income and Capital Gains, Taxation of Charities and Not for Profit Organizations, Taxation of Informal Sector as well as Value Added Tax (VAT) and Excise Duty.

Other areas of expertise include Retirement Benefit Programs, Investment Vehicles and Financial Products including Sharia Compliant Financial Products. He is also involved in Community Service, Knowledge and Expertise Retention and Transfer; as well as Coaching and Mentoring the Youth. His accumulation of knowledge is drawn from the KRA, National Treasury, Kenya School of Revenue Administration, East African Revenue Authority Technical Committee and Negotiation of Taxation and Investment Agreements with more than twenty countries.

Mr. Anthony Okoth

Mr. Anthony Okoth graduated from the Munich University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Scientific Computing and Engineering. Having worked in diverse German technology companies specializing in technology within the Life Sciences including Fortune 500 entities.

Mr. Okoth has gathered extensive experience in the Information Technology industry, specifically within Software Development, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Cloud Computing.  

Supply-Chain Coordinator, Kenya

Mr. Edmond Maina

Mr. Edmond Maina coordinates supply chain, including warehousing, at TreAdvisory. He is an experienced and noteworthy leader in the supply chain and logistics management space in Kenya. He has managed supply chain operations across various companies simultaneously in the areas of manufacturing and trade.

In addition, he has hands on experience in providing transportation services for transit goods in East Africa through his own transport company.

He exercises a methodical approach to solving supply chain and logistics problems and has built a robust professional network in the field over a period of 10 years, in Kenya and Australia. He is the go-to person for knowledge sharing on sourcing, purchasing, transportation. He would further like to see the field in Kenya grow in the areas of Supply chain collaboration, Infrastructure development and technology led supply chain solutions.

Mr. Maina earned a Master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Curtin University, Western Australia, during which he gained some work experience in the field in Perth before moving to Kenya. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business Administration from the United States International University, Africa.

In his spare time, he updates himself on the supply chain operations in the automotive industry across the world. He is a hands-on family man and eagerly steps up to his societal roles and responsibilities with wisdom.

Research Coordinator, Kenya

Ms. Goodie Odhiambo

Ms. Goodie Odhiambo coordinates research at TreAdvisory. She is the founder of Goodie’s Ltd, Nairobi Kenya, where for 11 years, she has promoted research capacity building among crafts artisans across Kenya, developing and creating excellent quality decorative and functional handicrafts.

As such, she has created an extensive network and business relationship at community level across Kenya.

In 2014, she was nominated by the US State Department to represent Kenya in the African Woman Entrepreneurship Program (AWEP). AWEP is an outreach, education, and engagement initiative that targets African women entrepreneurs to promote business growth, increase trade both regionally and to U.S. markets through the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), create better business environments, and empower African women entrepreneurs to become voices of change in their communities.

She is an Alumni of CopyrightX – (under the auspices of Harvard Law School, the HarvardX distance-learning initiative, and the Berkman Center for Internet and Society). From 2018 to present, she has been consulting for International Trade Centre (ITC) on Refugee Employment and Skills Initiative (RESI) in Dadaab, Kenya, focusing on developing an organizational structure, product, and business development with artisans in the Dadaab Refugee Camp.

Marketing Officer, Kenya

Ms. Jeniffer Ntinyari

Ms.  Ntinyari is Treadvisory`s key  marketing officer in Kenya. She is a graduate of  the Kiriri Women’s University of Science and Technology  where she studied Business Administration and Management. 

She has a wealth of experience in sales and marketing, as well  as in field research.  By combining  sales and marketing skills with business and research skills, she presents  critical capabilities contributing to TreAdvisory`s data driven strategic business alignment.

Previously, she worked for Ipsos Kenya research, Tifa research company  as a field assistant with three years of experience in data collection, and as a sales and marketing assistant, in professional marketing services (PMS), Maurken company. Ms. Ntinyari is very active Kenyan citizen and patriotic, as evidenced in her participation in government national exercises such as collecting national census data as well as assisting in national election  voting processes.
